registration on Saber The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) imposed a mandatory application for registering products on Saber platform since August 1, 2019.
But Saber registration is not applied to the Products only, there are many types of registration with a separate process and requirements for each.
Facility account registration:
- The facility data verification.
- Registering the CR number, expiry date, and the ID that related to the facility.
- The system sends the data to verify the CR through the ministry of Commerce system.
- If the data are correct, the system will allow you to complete the registration process.
- Registering the information of the responsible and administrator of the facility.
- The system will send you a final verification and create a new facility account.

The Products registration:
- The user can add a new product in two ways:
- Search by using HS Code( Hs code and Search by keywords).
- Search by the Product Categories.
- The user can delete and edit product data, submit certificate requests for products.
Self-Declaration Request:
The objective of Saber platform is to enable the facility to issue a self-declaration certificate for products that are not regulated and locally manufactured.
The user can request a self-declaration on Saber
All non-regulated locally manufactured products are displayed on the platform.
To issue a self-declaration certificate, you need to register information like product name, HS code, barcode,…
If the data successfully verified, you can create an invoice.
Pay the invoice, then get the self-declaration issued.

Non-commercial products registration:
Saber platform helps to submit a non-commercial product request for imported shipments that are not intended for sale or trade, in order to obtain a shipment certificate.
Such as shipments that are imported by individuals for the purpose of construction or restoration as well as shipments of raw materials products or factory equipment’s used in production lines, and shipments that are supplied To a government agency according to a purchase contract.
You can register as a new user.
Register an account in the platform, the type of users(citizen, resident, or any other types).
If you have a facility account registered on Saber for commercial products, you can register the non-commercial products directly.
Attach the necessary files and information.
After verification, you can complete the registration process.
Adding a product using HS code or keywords.
Adding the shipping data and the reason for not clearing the shipment.
confirm the process of submitting the request, so the system will create an invoice.
After payment, the request will be sent to the non-commercial products department to study the request and make the decision.
