Safety measures for transport vehicles such as small cars, trucks and trailers are among the issues that are of great concern to the Saudi Organisation for Standardisation, Metrology and Quality and the relevant and concerned authorities, as the authority has issued a set of mandatory technical regulations for the front, side and rear barriers of trucks And trailers to reduce loss of life and property.

In this context, a working group was formed within the technical team for electrical systems and accessories to update the technical regulations for electrical connections to avoid some of the problems that manufacturers and suppliers face in implementing them while ensuring the availability of safety requirements for the consumer, and electrical connections have been added to the products that the authority monitors in the market.
