National Recognition Certificate matching to (IECEE, IECRE, IECEX)

National Recognition Certificate A document issued by SASO to prove that the product / products

comply with safety standards according to international specifications, depending on a report and

test certificate issued by laboratory and a granting body accredited by conformity assessment programs

(IECEE, IECRE, IECEX), taking into account the national differences.​

Conformity Assessment Program (IECEE)

It is the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) system for conformity assessment programs

for electro-technical equipment and components.

 

The National recognition certificate corresponding to the IECEE certificate:

 

a document issued by SASO to prove that the product / products conform to safety standards

according to international specifications and which depends on a report and test certificate issued

by a laboratory and a granting body accredited to the conformity assessment programs (IECEE), taking

into account the national differences.

8. Technical Regulation for electronic devices used in (smoking) vaping systems.

The National recognition certificate equivalent to the IECEE certificate:

A document issued by SASO to prove that the product(s) are conform to safety standards according

to international standards and which depends on a report and a test certificate issued by a laboratory

and a granting body accredited by the conformity assessment programs (IECEE), taking into account

the national differences.

Service requirements

• The Saudi Commercial Register.
• Test report for the product issued by an IECEE accredited laboratory.
• Product testing certificate issued by any certification body (NCB) accredited by the international organization IECEE.
• Fill out the undertaking and declaration form of the supplier / manufacturer stating the name of the product and specifications with implementing the national differences (attached).
• Product sizes and photos (if not attached to the test report).
• Explanatory documents (such as: the product instruction manual must be in Arabic and English or Arabic only).
• Attach a certificate issued by the Communications and Information Technology Commission to the product (if the product works with a data or communication chip (SIM card)).
• Please ensure all requirements are met before applying.

assessment (IECRE) program for renewable energy.​

assessment program (IECEx) for equipment and devices for use in explosive atmospheres.
