Saber Electronic Platform
Saber is the mandatory electronic platform for product registration and issuing conformity certificates according to the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) technical regulations.
Saber was established and developed by SASO in cooperation with THIQAH Business Services Company and the Ministry of Commerce and Investment as a part of implementing the Saudi Product Safety Program (SALEEM) to set a comprehensive conformity assessment program applied to the products prepared for sale in the kingdom.
SASO has enforced Saber registration of locally manufactured and imported products, as all importers and local manufacturers are required to register their facilities and products on Saber, and requesting the conformity certificates electronically via Saber only, or shipments will not be able to access the kingdom market.
SASO announced with the Saudi Customs the linking between Saber platform and FASAH platform in July 2020, in order to link the data of products and shipments to facilitate customs clearance.

Certificates issued via Saber
In addition to registering facilities and products on Saber the following certificates can be issued via Saber:
- Product Certificate of Conformity (PCoC), required for imported regulated products to the kingdom.
- Shipment Certificate of conformity (SCoC), required for each Imported shipment regulated or non-regulated.
- Self-Declaration for non-regulated products, required for non-regulated products locally manufactured or imported.
