Saudi Ports Authority’s (MAWANI) board of directors approved, on March 1, 2021, a number of decisions, including an updated strategy and the transformation journey of its ports.

In a statement, MAWANI said that the decisions are aimed at increasing efficiency in the ports sector and improving its competitive services.

The board also adopted a number of logistical initiatives in the context of the exploitation of infrastructure and capacity in Saudi ports, to serve the movement of maritime trade and encourage national exports.
