The National Committee for Exports of the Council of Saudi Chambers held a workshop to review the committee’s strategies for the current session and its vision to contribute to the development of Saudi exports, in the presence of government agencies representatives in the technical council of the committee, namely the Foreign Trade Authority, the Saudi Export Authority, and the General Customs Authority.
The Chairman of the National Committee for Exports at the Council of Saudi Chambers, Turki bin Muhammad bin Muammar, indicated that the committee is working to represent exporters with the relevant authorities, through an important work agenda that focuses on contributing to the penetration and growth of exports and raising awareness of the export environment among exporters, through major possibilities to benefit from data, export opportunities and the efficiency of communication with government agencies and exporters.
Bin Muammar noted that the main objectives of the committee are about increasing the representation of committee members for all sectors that possess export capabilities, and maintaining and building partnerships with relevant authorities in government agencies and chambers of commerce, in addition to identifying the obstacles and available export opportunities while developing initiatives in cooperation with the relevant authorities, and Providing consultancy and participation with government agencies concerned with Saudi exports, in accordance with the Kingdom’s vision to increase non-oil exports to 50% in 2030.
The Chairman of the National Committee for Exports emphasized that the committee’s work plan focuses on coordinating efforts with relevant government agencies and exporters for all sectors targeted for development and Non-oil export growth.
