What is the SASO IECEE Recognition Certificate?

SASO IECEE Recognition Certificate is a Saudi National Conformity Certificate owned by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), it is required for a number of electrotechnical equipment products prepared for sale in the Saudi market.

The IECEE certificate is issued based on a valid CB Test Certificate and CB Test Report according to the energy efficiency standards.

The IECEE certificate guarantees that all products that obtained the certificate are tested and found to be conformed to the standards of the IEC Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components, with taking into consideration the Saudi National differences and deviations before placing the products in the Saudi market.

Conditions of IECEE Certificate issuance, validity, and renewal

SASO IECEE Recognition Certificate is issued after submitting the required documents and the application is reviewed and approved.
After the SASO IECEE Certificate is issued the product is listed on the jeem 1 platform database.
The SASO IECEE Certificate is valid for one year and requires annual renewal.
The renewal request must be applied at least 60 days before the certificate expiry date, or the application will be considered new.
If more than one model number of the products are enlisted in the same IECEE CB Test Report and IECEE CB Certificate, they can be certified under the same SASO IECEE Certificate.
